Great Plugin To Upgrade Your WordPress Blog
Since WordPress version 2.7 a new feature has been created-the easy one click upgrade has been added to the core, making blog updates extremely easy. It is a great new feature but unfortunately making the update process even too easy! I wish the WordPress developer would give the user an option to backup their database and inform the user step by step when each step has been 100% completed.
That’s why today I want to share my favourite plugin upgrade that I think everybody should use called “WordPress Automatic Upgrade“.
It lets you upgrade you blog in 6 easy steps by:
- Backing up your files and your database.
- Downloading the latest files from WordPress.org and unzipping it.
- Putting the site in maintenance mode.
- De-activating all active plugins.
- Upgrading WordPress files.
- Re-activating the plugins.
