Import Comments From Social Websites And Blogs
With the explosion of social websites, conversations about your latest blog post is no longer taking place on your own blog.
I have been looking for a long time for a way to import comments about your posts made throughout the web and display them alongside to your blog comments.
Thanks go to BackType Connect for coming up with this AWESOME plugin. Now you can bring in comments from a variety of sources like FriendFeed, Digg, Reddit,Twitter, Hacker News and other blogs. A great way to excite the conversation on your blog – now readers on your blog can reply to comments made on other social sites.
It’s really easy to install, you just need to set a few settings:
- You can display all these associate comments at the end of the comments section, or mixed with the rest of your comments for your visitor to read or respond to it.
- Filters comments throught your spam filters.
- Add a link to view more comments by an author.
- Ignore connected conversation of your own blog.
- Enable or disable the source website you get your comments.
- Filter all the retweets messages.
- Administrator can approve comments before being display.
