John’s comment is a good one. I almost always tweak a theme in some small way or other. I know barely enough PHP and CSS to be dangerous.

What many users of WordPress would want to know, I am sure, is how to EDIT a WordPress theme.

You may come across a very interesting theme, but not everything there is to your liking. It could be simple things like the page margins, or the width of the column etc. Or it could be more complex stuffs like how it manages lists.

However rather than designing your own WordPress theme from scratch, it would be far easier to take a theme which probably meets 90% of your needs and desires, and tinker yourself for the remaining 10% to make it “just right”.

I’d really appreciate if you could run a tutorial on how to edit WordPress themes.
